It all started when…

The idea for the paintings came while spending some time during an invite at the beautiful high end hifi headquarters of ATR Audiotrade in Etville, Germany. While having the main room for myself listening to an amazing audiophile setup, I just let my pencil freely move over the screen of my iPad to doodle out some wild lines without any idea or concept. And just like seeing animals or other shapes in cloud formations in the sky I saw forms and scenes in all the mess on my canvas. Without filtering or thinking about it I connected the what I saw in the lines and suddenly some abstract paintings appeared. Inspired by this process and raw approach to create visual art I started a series of digital paintings in both color and black and white. This painting is part of this unfiltered series. The print can be considered as the original since it only got physically reproduced this one time. There will never be another copy made.
